       群言出版社创建于1989年，由民盟中央主办。群言出版社成立以来自觉地以弘扬中华传统文化为使命，并落实到文化出版的具体实践中，为广大读者编辑出版了许多优质的精神文化产品。
       “群言”二字取广开言路、博采众言之意，“所崇惟学，所宝惟书，搜群言而斯在，立重阁而藏诸”，正是群言出版社的办社宗旨。群言出版社出版以中高层次读者为对象的社科、文史、文献、科技、教育类图书、人物传记、回忆录等经典图书。长期以来我们锐意进取，不断创新，努力开拓新领域、发掘新资源、实践新思路，长年积累了一批由民盟各界优秀人士撰写、编著的具有创新思维和独特视角的历史、科普、经济和文学类精品图书，并多次获得了国家各项奖项。我们会再接再厉为广大读者和民盟盟员奉献更多的优秀图书。

President’s Speech

Qunyan Press , first established in 1989, was sponsored by China Democratic League（CDL）. As a sense of vocation, Qunyan Press has published lots of outstanding cultural products for the development of Chinese traditional culture for  years.
Qunyan means addressing freely, listening widely and disseminating objectively. Knowledge is the only merit, books are the only tresure. These books contain various kinds of thoughts and theories, we shall build a high tower to collect and store them. It is our dealing tenet. Aiming at the high-level reading public, we mainly publish the classic books about social science, history, literature, natural science, education and etc. In the long term, we have been opening new areas, exploring new resources and practicing new thinking with our enterprise and innovation. We have published a set of splendid books which wrote by the authors from CDL and all social circles, presented lots of innovative thoughts and unique angle of views in the area of History, Science, Economics and Literature. For this reason, our press has won multiterm national prizes for several times. We will keep up our efforts and supply more outstanding books for the readers and the leaguers of China Democratic League.
The website of Qunyan Press establishes the bridge for us serving our readers, and provides a platform for learning and communicating with readers and friends from all social circles.
